Case A:
THE PROBLEM:
Patient KG has been fitted with bio-temps, bridge #2-x-4-x-6-7. The photo displayed demonstrates the placement:
From the photograph, it is obvious that the bridge is not aligned with the curve of spee. B&B’s technicians were tasked with creating a permanent prosthetic that would provide a symmetrical appearance and correct the misalignment.
THE SOLUTION:
To correct the curve of spee, extra attention was given to the emergence profile and angulation of tooth #11 in order to make it symmetrical to tooth #6. Further alignment was accomplished by compensating for an approximately 5 degree rotation towards the distal for tooth #10.
